HiFiRe Studio is a documentarian project focused on preserving vocal and acoustic music as it exists in real spaces shaped by time, use, and natural reverberation. The work prioritizes restraint over production, allowing voice, room, and performance to remain intact.
THE WORK
Each recording is treated as a document rather than a product.Performances are captured in full, without reconstruction, enhancement, or interruption. The goal is not to refine or improve the music, but to preserve it accurately, including its relationship to the space in which it is performed.

METHOD
Every session follows the same guiding principles:• Minimal microphone arrays
• Natural room acoustics
• Full, uninterrupted performances
• No direction during takes
• Quiet, unobtrusive presenceThe performers lead.
The space responds.
The recording listens.
SCOPE
The archive currently focuses on traditional, sacred, and culturally rooted music. As the project develops, other acoustic forms may be documented under the same documentarian approach. The method remains constant, regardless of genre.
PARTICIPATION
HiFiRe Studio periodically documents selected singers, ensembles, and tradition-bearers as part of the ongoing archive. There is no cost and no obligation. Participation is voluntary and collaborative. Each artist receives access to the recordings for personal, archival, or promotional use.
